Starburst Compass

£180.00

Playfulness is at the heart of this piece, having laid the canvas on the studio floor and drawn in grey something akin to my childhood compass, I placed cardboard boxes, tupperware and other containing objects on and along the cardinal points and began to draw around them.

The objects were not fixed and slid and staggered away from their original positions and led to the asymmetrical shapes being created.

These shapes were then drawn into, and included patterning, landscapes and portraits.

A 50×50cm ‘giclee’ on fine art paper. Available either rolled in a cardboard tube at £180 or packed flat and mounted ready for framing, £200
