Southsea Common was partially the inspiration for this design as well as a conversation about balloons; balloons as symbolic of a transportation system that help bodies moving into spirit, or a heavenly realm.
I do not recall exactly why the leaves are yellow, but it may have been painted in late summer or early autumn, when the memory of picnics and the sounds of laughter were still resonating on the common.
